New Delhi, Oct 12: Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) is contemplating a huge rally of Muslim in Agra with an objective to awaken the Muslims against terrorism and violence besides injecting in them a liking for education to rid India of the menace of terrorism and violence.

The congregation of Muslims planned in November this year, ahead of the assembly elections in the Uttar Pradesh, is expected to clear the clouds of doubts regarding nationalism and social integration.

MRM National Co-convener Dr. Imran Chaudhary giving information about this proposed event said that major Muslim organisations, sects, Ulemas and others will be invited to attend this congregation.

Clarifying that this is not a political event Dr. Chaudhary said the Agra congregation is non-political but invitation will be sent to all the Muslims irrespective of their political allegiance.

The MRM feels that the Muslim community has developed a wrong concept about the RSS to the extent that the community considers this Hindu organisation as its enemy. The proposed event in Agra would try to dispel this misconception about the RSS and clear their doubts, he added clarifying that it has no political overtones. However, observers are ascribing the political motive to this conference in the event of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Besides inviting all the major Muslim organizations to participate in the Agra conference, the MRM would extend the invitation to Deobandis, Barelvis, Shia, Sunni and Ajmer, Kaliar Sharif and Ulemas of all the major sects of the Muslims. The representatives of Ulema, women, Gaupalak and Intellectual cells of the MRM will also be attending the conference.

The MRM has already made it clear that the Agra conference has no relation to any political party but invitation would be sent to all the major political parties including the Congress, SP, BSP, BJP, RLD etc. on condition that whosoever participates in this event would have to keep aside his political leanings and loyalties and would not be permitted to talk politics in the conference.

Political observers feel that this is an exercise to bridge the gap between Muslims and the BJP though the MRM has refused to buy this theory.

It may be noted that the MRM would launch its campaign against terrorism by organising youth conference at Mewat in Haryana on the 14th of this month, said Khurshid Rajaka, National convener of Youth wing of MRM.
